Camilla Bruerberg is the designer behind the company C/BRUERBERG.
Bruerberg graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and showed her collection as “Debutant of the season” at Oslo Fashion Week in 2010. In 2011 she was one of 4 winners at "Ones to watch - Men" at Vauxhall fashion scouts, London Fashion Week. Drawing inspiration from evolutionary perspectives and the impact of materials, her work has gravitated around knitwear and textile print. Collaborations includes Röyksopp, the Norwegian Theatre, Morten Harket, among other artists and brands. Resent projects include designs for Holzweiler and knitwear for Nina Skarra. From 2013-2015 Bruerberg was a board member of Norwegian Fashion Institute - NFI. Currently she is an PhD Candidate at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, working with digital knitting technology and exploring the vast possibilities within materiality and shape from the vantage point of materials and the human relationship with our surroundings. |
